Tenchi Bridge/Jigoku River

The red bridge of fine brown wood arches over the Jigoku River. The river flows through japan but at this point is only one of the many ways to get across it. This bridge is famous for being known as the gate between heaven and earth. It was named Tenchi to say that good always raises over evil. Jigoku which means hell is said to be a cursed river and it is in fact. Many dead have been thrown into the river being known as mans last stop before the after life. Many philosophers, Warlords and pilgrims come here in search of refuge from the evils of the world. Many leave sacrifices on the bridge and drop them into the river in hope of good luck and blessing. The river and bridge are surrounded by marshes and there's not a day that this bridge doesn't seem to be covered by fog.
