Rivals of the New Era

[TAKAHIRO KAMI]

Looking serious kami lifted up on leg and slammed it down on the mans leg that went to sweep him. From there he used his other leg to lock the mans leg in place. Takahiro Kami's arms came from the side, they were flat and he used the left one the back hand hard to smack the mans chest yanking on his leg with his own to kinda trip him. Than with his right arm he threw a punch into the mans, not chest but right below it. The indent right below chest where the muscle is most weak. This is where the lungs where and it would knock the wind out of his opponent.

[TENSHI KURAI]

The man was serious now that was for sure as he caught Kurai's legs and locked it. It was easy to see that he had had some training in hand to hand combat. The mans grip was tight and he couldn't get out of the lock. He felt the sing of the first blow as it slapped across his chest then his legs were coming from under him. He just barely managed to get his arms in front of him over his chest as the second blow hit. He had fell back on the ground now, but he wasn't out just yet. He brought his foot up to kick the man in his weak side where he had been cut and in one swift motion moved to roll to his feet.

When his opponent kicked him in his cut all he could feel was more blood leave his body. He felt weaker and stumbled back falling to his knee. Watching as his opponent brought them self from being on the ground to up on his feet. Quick he was of course quicker than Kami, Kami had to rely on his strength and ability to take hits. Although after being torn up on his left arm so bad ignoring it might not work. Also did he stand from his down position facing the man before him. Staring into the mans eyes his soul wondering his next move. Kami got back into his favored side stance but this time his right was in front. He planned to hold a strong defense this time.

[TENSHI KURAI]

The man was tough Kurai had to give him that, he had took the kick and was still ready to continue. A smile grew over his face as he looked at the man into his eyes. He could see this man was a true warrior which was rare. He looked at his bleeding arm and was ready to put an end to everything. He would put it all into this final encounter. He ready himself his bleeding hand hanging as he stood at the ready. He charged at him and went for a high knee to the gut and a punch with his good arm straight for his face.

Kami got read watching as his opponent charged his left arm and hand almost useless. Watching as the leg was thrown he used his right hand to block it gripping it. He could not help the fist that flew towards his face landing. His left arm could not act fast enough for pain only stung hard. Kami's jaw cracked not breaking but almost dislocating as he fell back. Back he went before catching himself but going too his knees. Cracking his jaw back he coughed up some blood "...ow.." that was all he seemed to say gripping his fist. Stumbling he did standing to his feet and bowing. "Thank you for this honor Kurai-sama" speaking but falling back to one knee kinda woozy from the punch and light headed.

[TENSHI KURAI]

Kurai's leg had been caught but the punch had landed with a slight cracking sound. The man stumbled back then and Kurai's leg was freed and he moved back a bit standing. He looked and watched as the man got back to his feet. Kurai thought the man was about to attack again and got ready only to be surprised when he bowed. He had thanked Kurai then went back to one knee. For the moment Kurai just stared at the man weighting what had just happened and what he said. Then he walked over to him looking at him then with his good arm pulled him up helping him stand. " The honor was mine and it was the most fun I had in quite sometime. You not a bad guy when your not randomly bring your forces here to attack me" he smiled then looking at him.

"yes well.. when I hear of large forces marching In Iyo that are not of my neighbors I get suspicious... and coming without a guard would be rather reckless.. heh.. " The goof came out of him slightly as he stood up nodding that he was okay now. He walked over and picked up his Wakizash sheathing it than back over to his Nodachi and also sheathing it. They were his katana what he lived in died but not rarely did he mistreat them so. Sora and Chie, the last thing he had of his family blood line beside the castle. Looking back over he spoke "So what exactly are you here for...?".

[TENSHI KURAI]

Kurai had let the man go she he said he was ok and went to pick up his swords. He bend down and picked up his Enkou the last gift he would receive from his father. Then he picked up his Raiza the sword that belonged to his father. Both were very important and could not be replaced by any other katana. he sled them both into their sheaths and turned back to Kami to answer him. " I had got word that in this town I might find the man that murdered my father. I must admit that the way I found out was weird in itself but who could pass up the chance that it might be true. I'm sure by now though it wouldn't matter, our dual took sometime and I'm sure word of my forces being here would have reached the town. If he was ever there he wouldn't be anymore so it no longer matters."

He walked toward Kami then and stood next to him with a slight smile. "We will have to do this again sometime just a friendly spar of course. You seem an honorable man and I hope if we are to go to war we aren't opposing each other" he turned then walking toward his troops. "but who knows until we meet again Takahiro Kami."

[TAKAHIRO KAMI]

Kami smiled before putting his helmet on his head and locking it, "If I get word hes in Iyo.. youll be the first to know.." One of his soldiers on horseback with a extra horse came out to him. Mounting upon his stead he looked at Kurai. "I agree" he said "next time you wont get so lucky" laughing now but than holding the side of his helmet "ow!". Riding back to his men they began to pull away back to the Castle.
