Scout1: Tenshi Forces! Lets hurry back and Tell Lord Takahiro!
Scout2: right!

The scouts fled seeing the banner of Tenshi outside of Wakana, Wakana was a tranquil town barely even considered a town since its population was low. The day was beautiful and war was the last thing anyone wanted but sometimes war was inevitable. "SIR! SIR!" yelled one of the scouts to Takahiro Kami as he trained with the men in the court. Kami looked to the scouts "What is it?"

Scout1: Tenshi forces! camped outside WAKANA!
Scout2: We couldent see how many but we saw the orange banners!
Kami: I see... well we will just have to pay him a visit... Tell the men to get ready...

Kami went to his room and dressed himself in a long coat seen worn by many samurai just his had sleeves on it. It was purple gold and black just like his banner. Too his side where his Nodachi and Wakizichi. he was ready for war, he made his way out to the courtyard to see 100 samurai on horseback and 40 on foot. Many had his banner on their back and others with smaller banners of their clans. Finally they rode out until they made it to Wakana. Right outside of it Kami sent a messenger to Tenchi.

Messenger: Tenshi Kurai! I have a letter from Takahiro Kami, my lord!

"Leave Iyo at once or be prepared for war!"

Kami let it linger in his mind why the would travel this far from Yamato and the only thing that came to mind was that they planned to attack so he made sure he was ready as well. The messenger came back and the Takahiro forced were aligned, the 40 men on foot were in front and than the 100 on horseback behind them.

[TENSHI KURAI]

Traveling stranger: I know of the man you seek, the one that took the life of your father. He lives and hides int the land of Iyo, in Wakana Town. It is small so he figures no one would find him.

Kurai: What makes you think I will believe you, why should I you a stranger come with this supposed news.

Stranger: Believe me or not, but once he gets away you won't have the chance to find him again. You know you can't left this shot pass you up but in the end it's your choice.

The stranger had walked out then laughing as if he had just told the most funniest joke in the land. Kurai sat in his tent as he remembered the events that had led him to this land and the reason he was camping out here. There was a possible chance the his fathers killer was hiding here and he couldn't wouldn't let him slip away. So he had gathered his troops and they had made their way across the lands to this place and he wasn't leaving until he found what he wanted and got some answers.

He had sent out two scouts archers to check out the town and see if they could find out anything. he had decided to keep the rest of the troops on the outside of the town and rest up from there travels. The scouts weren't back just yet and he was starting to wonder if this was just a trick. That was when he heard a commotion outside and stepped out of his tent to see what it was a soldier addressed him.

Soldier 1: Sir there is a messenger here for you sir he delivers a message from Takahiro Kami

Kurai took and read the message, so this Takahiro thought that he could keep him from his fathers killer. That was a mistake he would soon regret. Kurai turned and looked at his men and the messenger.

Kurai: Go back and tell this Kami that The Tenshi forces run from no one. Now be gone while you are alive to deliver the message. Men prepare for battle we show this Takahiro group why the Tenshi forces aren't to be messed with.

The group of men cheered and he returned to his tent and prepared his battle gear. He hadn't come here for war, but it had found him and he wouldn't run from it.

[TAKAHIRO KAMI]

Kami had met with the Tenshi Messenger and said no word to him as he returned back to his Daimyo. Kami looked to his men smirking "Send the fourty.. and be prepared to charge..". The Takahiro banner began to move and below it was forty samurai on foot walking towards the camp. They made sure to stop not going fully near it. All forty stood ready awaiting to see what the Tenshi forces would do.

Kami got off his horse and took off his coat, putting armor on than putting the coat back. He put on armbands and leggings for more protection. To top it all off he put on his helmet with a weird crest. It almost formed a butterfly but not completely it was like a misshapen silhouette. Looking to his men one last time he smiled "Prepare yourselves!".

[TENSHI KURAI]

Kurai was in his tent when word had come of movement from the Takahiro forces. So the were wasting no time were they and would not even return his his messenger. That is fine the quicker he could end this the soon her could get back to his real reason for being here. He turned to the soldier that had informed him of the movement and told him to set up a there first wave of 40. He dismissed the soldier then so that he could finish putting on his batter armor.

He put on his arms, legs, and chest armor and over it his orange jacket with black trimming and it's black phoenix symbol on the back. He grabbed his helmet and walked out of his tent to his horse readying it as he placed his helmet the finally piece to his gear on. He had his two sword at his side as he moved forward. He told his archers to spread out on the high ground behind them and ready themselves. He was ready to fight and saw no reason to waste anymore time.

Tenshi Forces: 50 Samurai (horseback), 20 Archer

Takahiro Forces: 100 Samurai (horseback), 40 Samurai

BATTLE BEGIN!

[TAKAHIRO KAMI]

Kami watched as his forty marched forward towards the Tenshi forces. The sound of armor ruffling, spears and swords clinging and feet stomping. For a second he had forgotten the kinda man he was, Wakana was a nice town and to leave its outskirts trenched in blood would be against everything hes for. Smirking for a minute he moved his feet against his force and shot forward it did. Dressed in battle ready clothing and armor, his huge Nodachi sword at his side with his Wakazichi next to it he looked like a true samurai not like some rounin as usual. His samurai on foot seemed to move out of his way kinda suprised and they stopped marching leaving a rather large space between them and the Tenshi Forces. Kami stopped not too far from the foe before him.

"I am Takahiro Kami!" His voice usually more friendly and a bit goofy was stern and battle hardened now. "I wish for no blood shed! Tenshi Kurai! Come forward and fight me!" A quick change in the battle scheme not wanting to waste any men and turn Wakana into a battle field he awaited an answer. Kami Unsheathed his Nodachi, a blade resembled a katana but was longer and usually used for horse back. Being the odd man that he was he used it just like a katana and usually attempted to use it one handed when many had to use two. Dismounting his horse he smacked it back to the calvary and than sat criss cross with his katana on his lap.

Kami waved his hand back and his forty soldiers on foot moved back to where the samurai on horseback also waited. He was showing that it was no trick and he showed he had enough honor to trust that Tenshi would not launch a volley of arrows at him. A man of risk and honor who only wanted to see a peaceful japan. This man was Takahiro Kami... a man who wanted know war and acknowledged his mistake of acting so hasty.

[TENSHI KURAI]

Kurai stood ready to begin and end this whole battle and get back to what he had come here for in the first place. This was an unforeseen event and it was taking up time, time he really could not a ford to give. His soldiers had formed there line and were ready for battle he could see the look on some of their faces. It was a mix of emotions there some eager to fight and show off what they could do others seem uninterested in the whole ordeal. He had mixed emotions about the whole thing since he had not come to here for senseless blood shed he had only one he wanted to kill.

He mounted his horse and begin to make his way to the battlefield where both his and the enemies troops He heard then as Takahiro Kami made his way through his troops and called him out for a one on one fight. This was rather unexpected since it had been him that had started this whole war in the first place. He was unsure if this was some kind of trick to get him to come out and be easy pickings. Kurai decided to take his chances and give this Kami the benefit of the doubt. He turned to one of his soldiers and told him " Have the archers at the ready but do not fire unless I give word."

Kurai rode his was through his own soldiers and to the front where Kami was waiting. He dismounted his horse his two katana at his side as he looked at Kami. " I am Tenshi Kurai of the Tenshi forces. You have called me out here so I hope you are ready." He sent his horse back to the other men and removed his helmet his hand at the hilt of his blade. He would accept this challenge and when it was over he would kill the man that was hiding in this village.

[TAKAHIRO KAMI]

Kami looked upon the man "Its a pleasure... Kurai-Sama..." he spoke with a smile. Finally he stood up holding his long sword in his right hand holding it at his side. A very open position but also very deceiving, the long sword most would be holding with two hands ready. Slowly taking off his helmet with his left hand his Nodachi tip against the grass ground. Off came the helmet and he placed it down holding his katana tight with his glove covered hand.

Takahiro Kami would admit sometimes that he played dirty every so often, rushing forward quickly being not too far from his opponent making dirt rise up as he dragged his sword. He slashed up with his right arm sending his sword type to slash his opponent with a long reach also dragging dirt up with it. This was in attempt to blind his opponent or making it kinda hard to see. His blows were powerful and he was able to lift the katana with only his right arm. His left hand held his wakizashi hilt always being ready to use it. His style was a mix of a few and it was custom where he used a drawing style with a side stance style. Instead of even blades he used a shorter blade and a longer blade one for quickness one for strength.

[TENSHI KURAI]

Kurai was staring at the man that was to be his opponent. His eyes looked over his long sword it was longer then the normal katana. It would give him more reach and make fighting this man more difficult then most. There was something about this that had him excited it had been far to long since he had had a good fight. He readied himself for whatever attack the man would come at him with. The man had took his stance the was coming at him with his long sword dragging up dirt from they ground.

The attack didn't surprise him he years of running the streets as a kid had taught him a thing or two about playing dirty. Kurai was ready and his drawing style was mastered and ready. He draw one blade partly out of it's sheath to block the incoming attack. The man was strong and he was able to make Kurai slide back a bit. In that same swift movement Kurai drew his other sword aiming to slash it upward at the man.

[TAKAHIRO KAMI]

Kami smirked seeing as his opponent blocked his attack, a attack that was long and drawn out so it was expected. Metal clashed and sparks flew and the other man got pushed back slightly. He kept pushing against the man until he saw another blade coming his way. Quickly he used his Wakizashi unsheathing it with left hand blacking the slash. They both were at a halt and it was metal on metal. Kami looked into the mens beautiful eyes (All romantic and such). Quickly he loosened his push to the point where it would give his opponent the edge. This was just a trick though. He loosened his push so he could in a quicker manner duck just slightly in attempt to trip his opponent.

[TENSHI KURAI]

Kurai was looking at the man as the sound of clashing metal filled the air. They were eye to eye and Kurai couldn't help but smile. He couldn't remember the last time that he had ah interesting fight and this was just that. Then he felt the man slack up on the force of his push. It was odd and Kurai could only see it as a start to a follow up attack. Kurai jumped back to put a bit of distance between them sheathing one sword the other in his right hand. He charged at Kami then the sword in his right hand slashing at his legs as he moved in and quickly drew his other blade slashing upward over his chest.

[TAKAHIRO KAMI]

Kami in a slick manner took his nodachi and quickly slammed it into the ground. So the blade was kinda stabbed into the ground. Not too soon or too late though so he caught his foes blades in an X manner on the nodachi that was stabbed into the ground. The Blade that was called sora, he took chie his wakizashi and spun around the nodachi and went to stab the wakizashi into his opponents shoulder. His right shoulder to be persist using his right hand to use the wakizashi. Letting his blade take so much damage was probably not the best thing he should do for it but his blade was long and hardened he believed it to be strong and war hearty. His movement was fast as was his opponents but at the same time he took long strides when using his nodachi because of its size. Basically selling his speed for strength and reach.

[TENSHI KURAI]

His attack had been blocked by Kami's long sword which he had stuck into the ground. It was a good block but it also left him somewhat open. Kurai was regrouping to move into his follow up attack when he had Kami coming at him with his wakizashi. He didn't really have enough time to completely dodge the attack to he dropped his sword in his right hand and used his armor on his right him to parry the stab somewhat. He would be cut over his arm but the damage would be lessened. He then moved to grab his arm since it would be hard for him to avoid being that close and pulled him in to headbutt him. He then used the sword in his left hand to slash at Kami's left side.

[TAKAHIRO KAMI]

Kami could do nothing from how close he was as he was grabbed by the other and was headbutted. For a second his ears rang and he was a bit dizzy. He quickly shook his head before feeling a blade penetrade his flesh from his side falling onto one knee. Dropping his Wakizashi and gritted his teeth in pain before standing slowly. As he stood he was too far from his nodachi and his wakizashi would deem useless against the mans katana. He would have to rely on not steel but himself along. Slowly he took a step back only feeling a stinging pain from hi side, the gash was pretty rough. The afternoon wind blew as Kami got back into a couching like side stance. (Obviously favoring side stances) Kami put one hand close to his collar bone but a bit further away. His other hand was extended and kinda bent. Martial arts, Aikido was what the knew but of course he did his own style mixed with it as he did with all fighting styles he mastered. Awaiting his opponent to attack he suddenly got serious as the blood dripped from him but his face showed no emotion or pain.

[TENSHI KURAI]

Kurai had manage to cut the man his headbutt serving it's purpose and stunning the man long enough. The mans head was harder then Kurai thought it would be and he rubbed his own head from the headbutt. He saw that blood was dripping from his forearm. He had expected it but he didn't expect the man to do what he did next. he had abandoned his swards and wanted a hand to hand fight. Kurai looked at him and thought for a moment the he drop[ed his own sword into the ground. They would just have to beat each other to a pulp it would seem, and with that he ran at the man going with a low sweeping kick to knock him off his feet.
