Takeo was enjoying a rather boring walk from town to town. His hands in his pockets, his sword on his back and an annoyed, irritated and bored expression on his face. Travelling wasn’t Takeo’s most favorite activity; then again, Takeo enjoyed very little things that didn’t involve drinking or fornicating. Having lost about a day in travel, Takeo spent his night sleeping in a small secluded forest and woke up to find a dead soldier, mauled by wolves no so far from where he was. After he slaughtered and took their wallets he washed his blade and pressed on, arriving at the town of Makotomai in midday, Takeo spent a good hour or so getting his bearings. He had been to Makotomai before, but that had been some time ago and he had quite forgotten the structure of the town and its villagers, not to mention the village had changed quite drastically over the years that he hasn’t been here, so he was rather lost at first.
His first stop was a bar. Here he bought some dumplings, ramen and a cup of sake and after quickly eating everything; he paid up with the stolen wallets of the Shoguns men. Of course, he would not have paid at all, had there not bee a band of soldiers outside the bar and he could have been killed had he not paid up. It was rather refreshing to get a good meal and drink. After a couple of hours of resting, the drifter moved out of the bar and into the streets, where he proceeded to walk around like he owns the place. A laid back walk as he chewed on a piece of straw and his hands in his pockets, his expression was rather intimidating, often scaring people out of his way. This was all however rather common for him at least. Well, fact of the matter was that he was making his way over a rather large bridge and noticed a man, quite of fair complexion and appearance standing on the bridge, leaning against the railing and looking off somewhere into the distance. He could only smirk at how easy this was going to be.
His eyes locked onto the pouch at his waist, he mixed into a small group of people passing the bridge and walked forward in an ordinary pace. Finally moving past the man of noble appearance, Takeo gently snatched the mans pouch. As the band of people moved away, Takeo tried to change his direction to the side, when someone yelled out in a scream.
”That man stole your purse!”
Takeo came to an instant stop, people quickly moved out of the bridge and he didn’t even see who yelled it. Takeo turned his head to the nobleman and noticed the blade at his side, but kept his hands in his pockets, wondering what the man would do as the two of them remained the only ones standing on the bridge.

A beautiful day in japan it was, everyone was out working on their farms. Going to the market to pick up goods or just going out for a good time. Kami who was a man who liked to enjoy his town, walk with the civilians and play with the kids on occasion. Many times he had been caught playing hide and go seek with children or giving them lessons on the way of the samurai. His guard were always looking for him cause he never told them where he was going sometimes he left the island of Iyo and went elsewhere without warning. Reckless in a sense but he payed no mind. For Japan was every mans country and one should be able to walk its beautiful terrain without being scared.
Standing their Kami heard a shout and looked over to the man holding his money bag. "...hmm?" Kami seemed to not be too sure what was going on until he saw the man. People were watching but no longer on the bridge as the Shogun took a step forward towards the man. "Excuse me... but that is mine..." His voice calm and almost comforting but also held a battle hardened background. He did not go for his nodachi nor any other weapon of his he stood at his favored side stance looking at him with his one working eye and waited for the man to react. Kami put his hand out waiting for the man to put it in his hand.

Takeo was indeed expecting a much more explosive reaction to his actions. The man nearly made it laughable how he simply brushed off getting robbed, but Takeo merely raised an eyebrow in disbelief as the man approach, did he not expect Takeo to draw his sword and decapitate him? His nodachi was much heaver than Takeo’s blade and Takeo was far more suited for his blade than the smaller male for his, in short, Takeo could draw his sword and swing it before the man could even be finished drawing his long and heavy nodachi. Of course, the out of touch Takeo didn’t know who this man was, he held him for another noble, he half expected his nodachi to be wooden like most nobles, but the fact remained that he held himself rather confidently in the eyes of a drifter, a vagabond that could strike any minute, much faster than the man could react. Takeo analyzed his appears as his pupils lifted from his feet to his face, stopping in the small between his eyes, giving Takeo a full view of his body.
The man demanded, or rather explained that the purse was his and Takeo merely raised his eyebrows. His bored expression didn’t change his left hand was still in his pocket and his right held the pouch lazily. His left hand exited his pocket and placed itself on his waist ”Is that so? I must apologize, my mistake” Takeo’s hand moved over the railing and released the pouch into the river, the current quickly carried it away. ”You’re free to go get it” a mocking smirk spread across Takeo’s face. What was he trying to gain by this taunting? Nothing, this was just regular Takeo, being an asshole to those around him.

Kami sighed watching the mains reaction still favoring his side stance. A fighting stance that many might used but Kami used it with intentions. Not using it to look cocky or cool it gave him a field advantage, dodging and attacking wise. So he bent down while the man still talked picking up a pebble and when he saw the man toss his yen into the river he simply tossed the rock at the mans nose lightly. It was meant to annoy him. He went back to his side stance still ready as ever, being a man light on his feet never stepping with heavy footing. Kamis eyes looked deeply into the mans but they were also watching his whole bodies movement and standing style and all Kami could assume was "reckless".

As it were, Takeo never took his eyes off of the noble when he threw his yen into the river, so he saw him throw that pebble and with a slight nudge of the head, he let the pebble pass. It really seemed like the people around them got embarrassed for the noble, this was just poor display of abilities overall. Takeo merely laughed at him ”Was that supposed to be some impressive feat of abilities?”
Takeo’s right hand grabbed the hilt of his sword, which was on his back, but he did not draw his blade. The drifter took a step forward at first and glared, locking eyes with the man and then proceeding to lock onto one spot on his body, the space between the eyebrows, watching this spot, gave you a completely view of the entire body of your opponent. Takeo licked his lips ”Lets see just how fast you are with that Nodachi!”” and with those words Takeo broke into a sprint, drawing his long sharp blade with his right hand, he allowed its tip to face the other direction as he was getting ready to slash that mans chest when he would reach him.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kami's feet slid back retreating back in a manner still staying side ways as his opponent made his run towards him. Of course stepping back further and further on the bridge was making the mans run longer. Making his slash even more delayed and hopefully killing some balance and making him a bit tired in a sense. Kami took slow breaths making his heart pace lower. Delaying his opponent he gave himself more time to examine his opponents movement and style. Now his stance was firm and he stuck to a side ways stance which he favored and awaited the man to come at him with steel. This is was he practiced and enjoyed, using his hands against a blade even if his own nodachi was necessary.
