Kurai sat in his castle having just gotten word and was feeling very annoyed. He had had enough of this crap and it stopped today one way or another. It was maddening what was being done to the people and all because one man got a bit to power happy. Well since he was unfit to have such power Kurai saw no problem with removing that man from power. He called for one of his guards and told him to ready the troops for today we take Tsubame. Kurai had had enough of the leader there taking advantage of the people and the rice. He had no problem with the Hoshi people themselves only the new captain of their forces.

He was running that town like it was his own personal play ground and the people were suffering. It didn't help that he thought he could charge outrageous prices for their rice everyday it going up to the point the the very people who worked the lands barely got any. He gathered and put on his war gear putting on his his armor chest, shoulder, legs and then his jacket the phoenix symbol on the back. He grabbed his katanas and sled them in his side they were as much apart of him as his arms and legs. He stepped out to see his troops armed up and ready for battle. He know that he had far more troops then needed to take over this town, but if his plan went right there was only one person that needed die today.

With that he grabbed his helmet and mounted his horse riding off to the town. He and his troops stood on the outskirts of the town their flag waving waiting for the people to take notice and the troops to be called. He turned to one of his men and said " Have the Archers get ready."

GM / Battle Mod:

Approximately one-third of the samurai troops of the town stood watch over the city's gates, and patrolled about, noticing before anything that a group had made it's way to the outskirts of the township. By word of mouth the word was given for all samurai to be on the ready, and for the older samurai to gather at their town hall to discuss a plan in the event they were being attacked. The younger males were sent to keep watch over the group, amassing as a separate group of one-third to be the first wave of defense in attempt of an attack.

The villagers, being told of the attack, all fled into their houses and locked their doors. Never before had they been attacked — the main reason for their small defense force, and were too afraid to do much more.

All was silent in town.

It seemed he had gotten the affect he had wanted with his stunt and towns troops were moving and the people going to safety. That was for the best if things did turn into a fight then no one else would have to get hurt. He only had a problem with one person that was their captain he was willing to let everyone else live and and join him. He Gathered his troops and had them move forward into the town with him at point. He stopped and told his Archers to set up half circle around the town and have two groups of twenty one to the left and one to the right.

He stepped up and said " I'll say this only once people of Tsubame, I and Tenshi Kurai of the Tenshi forces. I have come here because the captain that runs this land has grown big headed with power and is no longer fit to run this town. No one here has to die today as long as you all listen. Your captain has grown power happy and treats both you people and others wrong. Now Samurai you can either lay down your weapons and join me by bring me The captain. Or you can go forth with this battle a battle you are sure to lose and waste your lives. It is your choice."

With that he had his men ready and waited for their reply.

The people were not deaf to the cries of the leader of the invading party, and suddenly all came out of their houses. All of them looked at one another, waiting for each other to to say something, before one of the eldest members of the village spoke.

"I'm tired of war, and fighting. Tired of being exploited for my work. The man we have now is not doing any good for us, let us try this young man out."

The eldest man ignited a fire amongst the crowd, they all cheering, before glaring at the samurai. Though the Samurai were loyal, they were in the end simply the older males of the village, employed under the captain only to hope to defend their wayward village. They gave up unequivocally, but the captain himself was no where to be found.
