They were in the trees and skies. Still, they continued to chirp and tweet, 'singing' is what the people called it. Well.. the Elders. Not many people actually sit down to listen to the birds chatter anymore, though, many Elders have told tales about how they would do it. An Elder once said, that the birds were a guidance. Not many kids nowadays understood this, simply because back then, there weren't no carriages, and all the horses were wild. There weren't any compass, or any map. The Elders had to travel with their own legs and feet, and their compass, were the birds. Although, many still listen to many Elder tales, some still have failed to understand. Back then, it was fair.. many people were rich, in an evenly way. Only because there was no such thing as Yuan/Yen. The people used to trade, which made life much more fair. Enke liked to listen to the birds sing, there was always a relaxing sound to whenever he heard any birds sing. It was a good thing his grandfather had lived longer than his parents, to show and tell Enke the many tales he had. A tall strong young man walked down the Kamo River Way. It was a beautiful sight. At the time, the wind was blowing quite rough, so sometimes, you would see the wind carry the man's long black/purple-ish hair toward the right. The man seemed tall, maybe around six foot-three, and every step he took, there was always a small-soft "clinging" bell sound, coming from his right foot. The bell had been strapped around his wari shoe. At the time, on the man's head, was a straw Jingasa, which made it quite obvious that he was a Samurai. He wore a dark purple/blue-ish kimono, as he walked down the path. The man had two dual-swords in a black sheath, strapped onto both of his sides, and a Tachi sword also in a black sheath, strapped onto his back. The man's eyes were closed, as he walked down the path. He had been taking a small stroll.. no, actually, he had been traveling for quite some time. A traveler he was? Yes. And apparently, he had been a man who journey's off on his own. The man made a sudden stop, opening his eyes, revealing his dark-purple eyes. He shifted them toward the river, watching the water run, it was such a beautiful site. He wanted to continue his walk, but he couldn't help it but to stop and stare at the water. A bird had flew passed him, landing onto the water, a swan it was. A pretty bird. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he watched the swan 'honk' away, then hearing a carriage, Enke leaned took a step to the side. He watched as an old farmer ride off on a carriage, with a few rice stacks in the back. The man tipped his head to Enke, and Enke swiftly lifted his hand toward the front of his straw jingasa, and gripped onto it, while tipping his head back at the man. It was obvious the farmer was giving him a respectful bow, which is why Enke didn't mind giving the man one in return. He continued to watch the farmer, as he rode off further and further. A small sigh escaped Enke's mouth as he stood there. Enke had been traveling for so long, he almost forgotten to eat. He had been traveling sense six AM, and haven't eaten yet! realizing this made Enke, stare back at the water. "I could go for some fish." he said to himself lowly, as he watched a fish jump out of the river, and back in. He blinked once when a fish jumped out, this of course, was making him tempted to jump into the river; it was hot anyway. Enke kept his eyes locked on the river. He was waiting to see a another fish jump out, and then maybe, he could catch it! Somehow. There wasn't anyone around at the time; Why not? he thought to himself, as he continued to watch the water. But... if someone were to come, I wouldn't want them stealing my things he thought as he looked at the weapons he had. "Maybe next time." He said to himself, as he turned away from the river, and continued to walk down the path.
