It was currently the night time - the time of day that was perfect for the ninjas of this world to reign supreme. It was their time of ruling; with their black clothing, they are concealed by the shadows and blend in with them as easily as eating with chopsticks. Embarking out on a mission as dangerous as this -- being hired to assassinate the infamous Hoshi, was something not on Raiken's list, but he has been hired; by someone within the man's court, to assassinate him! Ah, how much he loved people like that; people that want to overthrow the ruler that they follow because of their tyranny rule. Even so, he hated betrayal without a reason, and that's a reason! If he was that person, he would've done the same - doing what he thought was right.
The tall male of 6'5 was currently disguised -- as someone of Hoshi's forces, wearing the banner of gold; complete with the black star and circle around it, on the back of the clothing. Where did he get this? He had to knock someone out for it, of course! It's not like he can make it out of thin air. As he walked around, other soldiers (not knowing that he was actually a ninja in disguise), waved and nodded to him with huge smiles. He did exactly the same, yet he felt funny on the inside at the same time. These emotions -- happiness, and greeting someone with a smile on his face was something that Raiken has yet to grasp in his life time. He had seen many people attempt to make him smile, but they have not succeeded in that. He can force himself, which that was what he was doing right now.
His name while being under this disguise is "Itoroko" - a man without a last name, which brings him much disgust. Even so, he had to suck this up, and while he moved through the throng of soldiers, he made it to the back of the castle, and prepared to get through the door - without that much effort, much to his dismay.
He finally entered the castle.. which was grand.
It took his breath away, but he knew better than to show that openly. People can get suspected of his behavior if he showed anything "strange". This Itoroko man was rather intelligent, so he got that already down. At the same time, however, the man was crazy and ruthless; exactly like Hoshi. Well.. that was a challenge, but when he goes to meet Hoshi himself, then that'll be kind of easier.. he hoped.
Let's skip all of the walking and sneaking through the castle - while knocking out more than several of the people at the same time...
Finally -- Hoshi's chambers, which also served as his office and such. When he finally entered, he knelt down: but mentally, he cursed in disdain.

Ichirou found himself walking in the court yard by himself irritated and going insane as he was. Once a honorable samurai and loved Daimyo by all of his people. Slowly he seemed to be going mad and as they days went by. Well he became more and more infamous for his anger and almost tyrannical ways. All hope was not lost thought for he was still young but at the same time old. Many of his allies and subordinates had hope that he would return to a peaceful state of mind and unite Japan. Although this dream was fading fast.
Not too long after his long ranting in the court yard had he made it too his room where he also had his office. His secrete chambers, his wife was asleep on the bed and he was at his desk. At his desk he finished a letter, he tucked it away in his armor and sighed. "Father... ill never live up to you..." Ichirou only now had memories of the war before and his father. He could not keep up with the world today, so was his anger really just depression. Well no one cared to ask him his wife was a whore and he was a lonely man. Sometimes he would receive letter from Takahiro kami but those were not enough to fill his void.
Ichirou got up and walked over to a man kneeling as he spoke out "stand..." a bold tone. Examining the man he coughed before speaking holding a fan in his hand. "What do you want... cant you see him busy.." Harsh was Ichirou these days not like the loving man he once was, not since his father passed away. Also was he sick with a terrible bug that had no sign of fleeing him. With a sigh he awaited an answer from the samurai before him.
